In its “Travail-au-corps” testimonial section, the news website Rue 89 explores the consequences of different jobs on the body, with a special focus on the social and physical effects of an always connected work life.
How do we tell in a single illustration a personal story that is first physical but also largely influenced by the digital environment?
We chose to replace photography with quirky graphic design inspired by computer art. Each illustration uses a limited palette of pop colors and basic geometric shapes that are reminiscent of cyberspace but do not take precedence over the story that needs to be told.
